From: L Johnson Date: Wed, 15 Sep 2010 11:47:57 -0700 Dear Recipient, I just received a Notice in the mail from "Telus" in regards to a 100’ cell phone tower they are planning to install on the "Juan De Fuca Columbus Club" property at 4537 Rocky Point Rd. It is interesting when the news this last week is rife with stories about wireless technology health concerns, that "Telus" wants to build this 100` telecommunications tower in total disregard to our families’ and our neighbours’ health. Our home is within 200’ of the proposed tower, and there is a neighbour’s house within about 100’ of it across the street. There are many others within this area, and from what we have found out, it is where the emissions contact the ground that they are strongest, say at 100-200 meters as an example. I will attach a copy of the notice for your information, please let me know what concerned citizens should do so I can let our neighbours know. I understand there is a petition being made by some concerned citizens, please let us know if there is anything else we can do. I hope you are able to follow up on this ASAP.
